× Biography: Ula Niemirska - born in 1984 in Warsaw, a graduate of the Faculty of Painting in Warsaw's Academy of Fine Arts. She defended her diploma in 2012 in the painting studio of Professor Stanislaw Baj and afterwards the annex in the studio of Art in Public Space of Professor Miroslaw Duchowski. In her work, she often goes beyond the painting medium and uses collages or installations. She uses found items which she glues to her paintings with the help of paint. In 2008-2011 she was forming the group 'Baltic Waves' with Rafal Dominik. In 2008 and 2009 she participated in international performance meetings 'Beautiful Lies' and 'Beautiful Lies 2'. Her works were shown, among other places, at the Dramatic Theatre (project 'Shown Hidden', 2008), in the XXI Gallery (2009), at the Transformation Festival (2011), in the Nieformalna Gallery (2015), in the Xanadu Gallery (2017), Farmazony in the Milano Gallery (2017) and the Stroboskop artspace (2017) as well as the International Biennale of Painting in Chisinau and the National Museum of Moldova (2017).
