This is a large size artwork that I have worked on for more than a year. It is quite rare and challenging logistically for me to attempt works of this stature, because my studio space is small, but I was determined to accomplish my vision for the piece, so I persevered over too many hours, days, weeks, and months to remember exactly, and there were times I was sure it would never "come together"..... Now, at long last, it's finally finished and I'm presenting it to the world!

My desire with this work was to amplify the fluidity of the central image area multiplying the expansive depth of field within the burgundy red color mass, so that a viewers gaze may be rewarded by it's alluring magnetism for contemplative explorations. This depth was accomplished with countless carefully applied thin luminous layers of Acrylic and *Iridescent paints on Fine Linen Canvas over Deep Wooden Stretchers.

*The White portion of the White & Yellow Horizontal Band on either side of the Burgundy Center Square is layered in Pearl Iridescent paints.

The sides are painted as a continuation of the uninterrupted design with the colors as the Front of the Piece. There are no visible staples on any the sides
(staples are only on the Back of the canvas)
