I typically use a Nikon DSLR to capture still-life or architectural images, some of my most compelling photographs are impromptu and unplanned shots of people going about the daily activities of life using my iPhone.
Whether the subject is a woman resting on the Metro, or two women involved in what apparently is an intense conversation, I keep in mind the basics of good photography; composition, clear subject matter, and non-distracting background.
