The Martian Chronicles tells the story which describes the first attempts of Earth people to conquer and colonize Mars. This book is not only about what could be life on other planets. Mars is Bradbury's symbolism of alien or foreign civilisation. The whole concept is to demonstrate how one peoples deals with people who have a different culture.
That's why for the book's cover I choose the figure of a man who holds Mars. Mars is three circles that symbolize the time and change. For the background, take the date of each of the stories from the book. The design is made for hardcover book.
Red is a traditional color for Mars, and the inscription is made with this color for accent.
