Natsu Ogata was born in Tokyo in 1977. She graduated from the Waseda University with a major in art history. After graduation, she worked at various companies as an office clerk, but collapsed from overwork and spend two months confined to bed. She began painting regularly as a part of her rehabilitation in 2015. Natsu doesn't have a formal education in art and is entirely self-taught. She chooses her media intuitively as she creates abstract works full of colors and happiness.
