Marcel Speet (Nederland, 1951) multidisciplinair beeldend kunstenaar maakt abstracte kunst tekeningen, herschikkingen en installaties. De werken worden beïnvloed door een verscheidenheid van bronnen, beeld ervaringen, hedendaagse ontwikkelingen, natuur, architectuur, mode en reclame. Onderzoek richt zich op het vorm geven aan het bewuste ervaren. Wanneer chaos en verstoring in het werk voelbaar worden, zijn er nieuwe dimensies in de buurt. Onderzoek door ontregeling, spelen en verwarren om tot nieuwe oplossingen te komen.

Marcel Speet (Born in the Netherlands, 1951) Dutch multidisciplinary visual artist makes abstract art works on paper, rearrangements and installations. The works are influenced by a variety of sources, image experiences, developments in art history, nature, architecture, fashion, and advertising. Research centers around giving form to processes of conscious sense of self. When chaos and disruption in the work is palpable, new dimensions are near. Questioning dimensions by disrupting, playing and disordering to get new solutions.

Les ?uvres sont influencées par une variété de sources, l'expérience de l'image, l'évolution contemporaine, la nature, l'architecture, la mode et la publicité. La recherche se concentre sur l'élaboration de l'expérience consciente, donner forme à des processus de sentiment conscient de soi. Lorsque le chaos et les perturbations dans le travail fait sentir, il y a de nouvelles dimensions à proximité.
