'In my work I use a variety of painting techniques: oil, watercolor, pastel, ink and mixed media. My favourite theme is portrait, both in large format and in a miniature. In landscapes I'm fascinated by the light and space without unnecessary anecdote. In abstract compositions I'm preoccupied with notions revolving around semantics.'
