Bio

Degree in Geography from the University of Seville. Master's degree in graphic design, marketing and composition.

(Sevilla, 1974) starts as a photographer after a long carreer of grafic designer. During 15 years he worked with national and international artists such as –Dorantes, Maite Martín, Falete, Juan Valderrama, Tsidii…–, institutions such as –Junta de Andalucía, Junta de Extremadura, ANCCE, Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, Hospital Reina Sofía de Córdoba,...– and agencies –Caja El Monte, X Aniversario Expo’92, Valquiria Producciones, Kompetencia Records, Fundación Cajasol, AB Comunicación, Bibliotecas Públicas de España, Colegio de Geógrafos españoles, FIBES, Universal Music,...–.

Now he works as a photographer to give his experience as a graphic designer more meaning. He has made portraits of Rubén Olmo, Dorantes, Antonio Canales, Rafaela Carrasco, Pastora Galván, Manolo Sanlúcar, Manuel Molina, Javier Barón, Manuela Carrasco, Carmen Linares, Milagros Menjíbar, Arcángel, Carmen Ledesma, José de la Tomasa, Marina Heredia, Patricia Guerrero, Ana Morales, Luisa Palicio, Eduardo Leal, Ana Agraz, among others.

It has been said of him: “If in Romero de Torres the landscapes surrounding the figures could also be those of Fra Angelico, in Javier Caró the environment has to do with the oneiric of the metaphors of Cansinos Assens or in the same environment in which flamenco is, for example, at the celluloid in Midnight in Paris, by Woody Allen.
