“Majestic” by Elegance Lamps is a luxurious antique lamp reminiscent of the early 1900s Art Nouveau style. With a striking eight-point Victorian lampshade and antique base, colorful antique embroidered lace, luxurious silk velvet and a wall of cascading beads, this lamp is a showstopper of majestic luxury.
The handmade Victorian lampshade is lined in silk, then smothered with delightfully pattered devore silk velvet. The vertical panels feature antique net lace embroidered with colorful silk threads in a floral pattern. The dome of the shade is encircled in floral applique. Trims used include two varieties of antique bronze metal lace.
The hand-strung beadwork on this shade is incredible, and includes over 3,160 pieces! Made of entirely Czech and metal beads in tones of garnet, amber, black, purple, and gold, the beads form a faceted cascade of colorful glow when lit.
The cast metal early-century base has been restored by a certified electrician, with new UL Listed hardware, double standard sockets, and has two pull-chain switches, one for each bulb. The base is hand-painted to match the shade detail. Stunning antique finial. This is a very heavy lamp at nearly 20 pounds.
