"Barcelona" is a radiant, dramatic Victorian table lamp in rich hues of cinnamon, burnt orange and onyx, with an authentic Bradley & Hubbard base and a whimsical full plumage of floaty black ostrich feathers.

The Victorian style shade is handmade using layered hand-dyed silk habotai and stunning rare antique black laces from Spain. The central panel features an authentic Victorian lace applique from the late 1800s. The shade is finished with two layers of ostrich feather trim, with a small plume at the top of the shade for balance and interest.

The Bradley & Hubbard base has been restored using new UL listed parts, and is very lightly hand painted to provide continuity with the original paint at the bottom of the base and on the central spiral. This lamp maintains true original paint on the stem and dome areas, retaining antique charm and wear. Some lamps are so interesting in their authentic state that I do not have the heart to over-paint them…this is one.

The Barcelona lamp is an outstanding medium-sized piece for very moody evening lighting, and dark mystery by day. It crosses genres from Steampunk to Goth, to 1920’s speakeasy to Art Nouveau, effortlessly.

Pull chain switching, Standard socket, full harp with new hand-painted finial.
