The Summer Flowers lampshade is covered in hand-dyed silk charmeuse, in a gentle fade from pale to deep magenta. The front and back panels are adorned with a gorgeous antique late 1800?s silk mesh and dimensional cotton lace, upcycled from a perfectly preserved garment. The front panel includes a cascade of antique French silk ribbon flowers with accompanying antique pearls. Each side panel is covered with a light silk and metal gold lace acquired at Sophie Hallette lace makers in Paris, France.

The antique trim on the Summer Flowers shade is heavy gold filigree metal lace from Amsterdam. The complimentary beadwork is hand-strung, and includes gold plated metal beads, Czech crystals, and glass pearls.

The shade rests on a hand-painted mid-century cast metal toleware base, stylized with metal floral accents. The matching finial is hand-painted with complimentary color.

This fully-lined lamp provides wonderful soft lighting, adding a bright spot of color and romantic femininity to home or office décor. A standard incandescent bulb is included. All restored lamps are wired by a certified electrician using new UL Listed parts.
