Item description:
In the abstract it comes to the art of omission.

Ernest Hemingway takes in his "Iceberg Theory" an iceberg as a comparison for the design of the ideal narrative:

"The dignity of movement of an iceberg is due to only one ninth of it being above water."
The real, profound or symbolic content of an artfully constructed story is therefore kept largely in secret and must be actively developed by the reader by its own imagination or experience.

The exchange between me and my painting is a pleasure. On the one hand I transfer what I know, but by means of abstract painting the canvas replies, partly specifies the subject and stimulates me repeatedly, to acquire some knowledge. At such moments, I find it really as a kind of teacher. Therefore I would like to briefly tell you a little about the fascination iceberg before I leave this acrylic painting of your own imagination, where it may unfold.

Icebergs are composed of fresh water with air bubbles, which reflect the light so that it appears white. Water without air bubbles is blue. Often icebergs are crossed by blue veins with clear ice. This ice is melting water that has penetrated into crevasses and later froze again. Icebergs can become 30 years old and 31,000 km² large.

Who could know more about icebergs than the Inuit? Therefore this image is entitled "Seeko'o", Inuktitut for "iceberg".
